***** Job Vacancy *****

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veteran Peer Support Worker to join the award winning ‘Veteran F1rst Point Lothian’ (V1PL) team.  The holistic V1P model provides a range of social and mental health support facilitated by our peer support workers and clinicians.

If you are interested in this post we would like to invite you along to our new offices at Erskine House to find out more.    We have veteran drop-in every Wednesday and Thursday afternoon between 2.00 and 3.30 pm.  This is a good opportunity to have a brew, meet the team and get a sense of what the role entails.   No appointment is necessary as drop in is open to any veteran.

The job holder should have experience of military life and a keen interest in supporting veterans with a range of welfare and psychological needs.  Military service is an essential requirement of this post.  Candidates invited to interview will be asked to provide proof of service and any relevant qualifications.
