Regular Forces Employment Agency

The vast majority of job opportunities are specially selected and pay above the UK average annual salary. We source job opportunities for all ranks, trades and backgrounds, including reservists, early service leavers, the wounded and dependants.

If you are ex-Forces and require assistance, no matter what your background or experience RFEA is here to support you and help navigate the pathway to quality, sustainable, and rewarding employment.

RFEA’s Compass Employment Programme addresses the employment support needs of ex-Forces personnel who no longer qualify for CTP resettlement provision, which is available up to two years post discharge.  After this time, RFEA’s Compass programme can provide you with continued job finding support, regardless of background or length of time served in the Armed Forces.

Call us now on 0121 2360058 and speak to one of our experienced advisors.  Alternatively, you can register at The Forces Employment Charity.

The Employment Compass Programme (ECP) is accessible UK-wide.

Depending on length of service, we offer free resettlement services to all ranks of the UK Armed Forces, including the Navy & Royal Marines, British Army and Royal Air Force – our aim is to help you make the transition as smooth as possible.

We’re here to provide flexible support from two years before discharge, through to two years after. We’ll give you all the tools you need to market yourself confidently to employers and to get the most out of life outside the forces.

Officers Association Scotland

The Officers Association Scotland (OA Scotland) was founded in 1919 as a distinct branch of its sister Association in London, by Field Marshal The Earl Haig to assist officers to find work and relieve poverty.

In 1999 OA Scotland was reconstituted as a Company limited by guarantee. OA Scotland continues to provide an employment service as one of its key functions but welfare remains the most pressing call on its resources.  In recognition of the service officers have selflessly given to the Monarch and Country, the Directors are committed to supporting them, their widows and dependants in their time of need.

Poppy Scotland – Employ-Able

Veterans in Scotland can now access a local service that will deliver support to help vulnerable ex-Servicemen and women find work.

Veterans' charity Poppyscotland and mental health charity SAMH have created Employ-Able, which provides local support, training and practical advice to assist veterans in their search for jobs.

Employ-Able aims to remove barriers, help develop skills and set goals, taking the form of one-to-one and group work sessions, using the model of SAMH's successful workshop-based Tools for Living programme. Ongoing support once veterans are in employment is also available.
